We went back to Orchard Road last Friday because we want to try other dishes which we did.
Here’s what we ordered…
Popiah (Fresh Spring Rolls) Lettuce, shredded carrots and jicama (singkamas) rolled into fresh wrapped drizzled with sweet sauce and topped with roasted peanuts. Surprisingly filling, vegetables used were fresh and crisp and I liked that they toasted the peanuts that texture and creaminess to the dish.
Char Siew Pao (Asado Pao). Very filling soft buns and the meat filling is a bit sweeter than your usual Asado Pao. Me Likey!
Char Kway Teo. A flat noodle dish with Char Siew pork, shirmps, bean sprouts, onions sprigs in sweet light soy sauce. Yummy! The noodles were cooked al dente, the shrimp was juicy and the hint of sesame and peanut rounded out the flavor. A must order if you’d like to try out Orchard Road.
Orchard Road’s service slightly improved and I hope they keep on improving the service coz their food is really good. Definitely Orchard Road has become our dinner favorite. 🙂
