Blue Whale Baby

Blue Whale Baby

Blue whales are the largest animals ever known to have lived on Earth. These magnificent marine mammals rule the oceans at up to 100 feet long and upwards of 200 tons. Their tongues alone can weigh as much as an elephant. Their hearts, as much as an automobile. Blue whales reach these mind-boggling dimensions on a diet composed nearly exclusively of tiny shrimp-like animals called krill.(Source from here)

This big baby is on exhibit when we went to TriNoma last week. Its huge! The exhibition is in collaboration of the National Geograhic and The Mind Museum with Ayala Malls.

I was really excited to see the baby blue whale up close. And because it is backed up by National Geographic (Geek alert!), I became more excited with the exhibit and its collaboration with The Mind Museum at Taguig. I started watching National Geographic Channel when we first got cable. I would watch the whole afternoon and just be sucked in with all they were featuring. From migrating monarch butterflies to super tankers.

Anyways, if you areย  in the area go see the biggest baby. ๐Ÿ™‚
